If you feel like having an unusual burger, you should definitely check out this matty melt! My kids went crazy over this very easy and simple recipe! Give it a taste and let me know what you think!

You’ll Need:

1 lb of ground beef.
1 medium onion half grated and half sliced.
¼ tsp of garlic powder.
1 lightly beaten egg.
1 tsp of salt.
1 tsp of pepper.
2 dashes of worcestershire.
8 slices of bread.
8 slices of cheese cheddar.
4 tbsps of soft margarine/butter.

How to:

In a bowl, mix together the egg and seasonings, add in the beef and grated onion and mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into thin patties and spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Over medium high heat, heat a large heavy skillet and cook the burgers for 3 minutes per side then drain off the fat.
Grill the sliced onions with a dash of worcestershire for a few minutes then remove.
In the same skillet, place 4 slices of bread butter side down, top each with a slice of cheese, some onions and a burger then add the remaining slices of cheese to the top.
Cook for about 2 minutes per side to brown.

Easy, peasy and cheesy! Making hamburgers have never been more easy and fun then this! I enjoy making this burger even more then I enjoy eating it! I’m sure you will love it!
