When it’s peach season, I make this cobbler 2 to 3 times a week.  Check it out!

You’ll Need:

½ cup of unsalted butter.
1 cup of all-purpose flour.
2 cups of sugar, divided.
1 tbsp of baking powder.
1 pinch of salt.
1 cup of milk.
2 undrained cans of peaches (15 ounce each).
1 tbsp of lemon juice.
1 ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional).

How to:

Place the butter in a 9×13 baking dish and melt it in the oven.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt and milk and stir until well combined then pour over the melted butter.
In a medium saucepan, boil 1 cup of sugar, peaches and lemon juice over high heat and stir constantly.
Top the batter with the peaches mixture and pour the juice over the top. If you want, sprinkle some cinnamon or nutmeg over the top.
In a preheated oven to 375°, bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Enjoy!

Easy, peasy and yummy! I love serving this warm, but you can cool it if you want to. I’m sure that you will love this dessert, give it a shot and let me know what you think.
