I love salty pies, I make them once a week for snacks or even for dinner sometimes. It’s just way to delicious!
1 single pie crust.
1 cup of milk or cream.
Salt and pepper.
⅓ cup of chopped onions.
10 slices of chopped bacon.
½ red chopped bell pepper.
1 cup of sliced mushrooms.
¾ cup of grated sharp cheddar cheese.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, salt and pepper and set aside.
In a skillet, sauté together the onions and bacon, when almost cooked add bell pepper and mushrooms. Sauté until all cooked through.
Place the unbaked pie crust in a pie pan then transfer the veggies and bacon into it. Top with half the cheese then pour the egg mixture all over the top then add the rest of the cheese.
In a preheated oven to 375°, bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
Let set a bit before serving.
Easy, peasy and cheesy! I can’t hide my feelings when it comes to this quiche, it’s just perfect, I have no words, just give it a taste yourselves and let me know what you think.
