My kids love chocolate, and let’s be honest, every single child around the world loves chocolate! This chocolate chip cookie cake is their favorite, check it out.
1 stick of unsalted butter.
1 ¼ cups of semi sweet chocolate chips.
1 cup of all purpose flour.
1 ½ tsps of baking powder.
¼ tsp of salt.
1 cup of light brown sugar.
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
1 large egg.
In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, light brown sugar and vanilla for 1 minute until well mixed then beat on high for 15 more seconds. Beat in the egg for 30 seconds.
On low speed, beat in the dry ingredients then mix in the chocolate chips until well mixed.
Transfer the batter to a greased and lined 9” cake pan and flatten it to an even layer.
In a preheated oven to 350° bake for 18 to 22 minutes.
Let cool on the pan for 4 hours or so then turn out onto a serving plate.
Simple, easy and yummy! This cake steaks to the pan, so after it cools for 10 minutes, loosen the edges and let it cool completely on the pan before removing it.
